I don't drive down to Homestead too often; if I do, I make it a point to stop by La Cruzada. It's as authentic as it gets, truly delicious Mexican food. Staff is always nice, and there's plenty of tables inside.

If you're looking for a dining experience with outstanding food and reasonable price check out La Cruzaada. I had the Milcajete an outstanding culinary creation with lots of flavor accompanied by a refreshing margarita and a perfectly crafted Michelada, The balance of spices and fresh ingredients in the Molcajete is simply unmatched, making it worth every penny. It's not just about great food; it's about enjoying a complete experience. I can confidently say I will be coming back to La Cruzada soon. Whether you're craving traditional Mexican fare or simply want to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with friends, this place should be at the top of your list!

Came here after the Homestead Rodeo this past weekend (Jan 2025). There was a short wait for a table but it was pleasant weather outside and we enjoyed it. Inside the ambiance is cozy and typical for a Mexican restaurant. They have an outdoor covered patio area with live music (at least while we were there). We sat inside but could still see and hear the action as the two areas are divided by a glass partition. The food was good, authentic. Hoenstky, the first time I came here, a few years back, the food was better. However, it's still very tasty and worth a trip when you are in the area. I went with the Tres Amigos platter / which comes with Tacos, two tostadas and two enchiladas. It is alot of food. Easily shareable if that's your thing. The service was also prompt and friendly. Honesty, I have no real complaints.

I'd heard that Homestead has some of the best Mexican food, so when we were passing through on our way back from Key West, we couldn't resist stopping to give it a try. We chose this spot based on its proximity, and what a great find it turned out to be! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. We decided to dine outside to enjoy the lovely weather. Gotta take advantage during the "winter" months. We ordered a variety of dishes to share: shrimp cocktail, steak, and the Botana sampler. Everything was fantastic, but the Botana sampler was definitely the standout. I'm a huge fan of flautas, and these were fried to perfection. The quesadilla was another highlight. Honestly, it might have been the best bite of the evening, and that's saying a lot because everything was so delicious. This was my first time trying Mexican shrimp cocktail, and it was a real treat. It reminded me of a flavorful gazpacho--refreshing and packed with flavor. If you're craving Mexican food, definitely make a stop here. You won't regret it!

Our number one taco spot in Miami for delicious, affordable, no BS tacos! If you're ever in the homestead area you've got to give this place a try. Even if you're not come and stop by! The staff are super friendly and the place is very homey and will remind you of a cozy home kitchen!

The menu has a lot of different options. If you're in the mood for something specific, they probably have it. We ordered the guac and chips for the table. The chips were definitely made recently, they were super fresh and were so good. We even ordered extra chips once our meals came. I've been wanting to try birria tacos and glad I ordered them here. They were really good and had a good portion of meat in them. I also ordered a side of rice that paired nicely with the tacos. Looking forward to going back, next time I'm in the area.

If you're in the Homestead area and craving good Mexican food, take a trip over to La Cruzada. We visited on a Sat afternoon and had a nice lunch. There is a decent selection of options and plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The decoration is very festive and ethnic and we thoroughly enjoyed the sweet staff and atmosphere overall. If you're craving tacos, get the Taquiza, which is essentially a taco flight. You get to try a little bit of all their meats.
